Bruce W. Knott

While at The Dilweg Companies, Mr. Knott served as the Chief Operating Officer / Senior Asset Manager and was responsible for the acquisition of 230,000 square feet of office and retail projects in the Triangle and almost 1 million square feet of Class A office in Atlanta and Charlotte.

Mr. Knott has directly overseen the development and construction of a variety of commercial real estate projects in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina. Mr. Knott has extensive experience in the ground-up development process and is effective at converting raw land into entitled property through his knowledge of the rezoning and site plan approval processes Prior to entering the commercial real estate field, Mr Knott was employed by IBM at its Research Triangle Park location where he held a variety of engineering and management positions in the PC Manufacturing division, including the Site Manufacturing Manager and the North American Materials Managers positions. As Site Manufacturing Manager he directly supervised 46 managers and 1400 employees and was responsible for over 30% of IBM’s global PC Production. As NA Materials Manager, he supported the procurement, production control, scheduling and inventory management of $2 Billion annually. He provided dotted line management to Guadalajara, Mexico and Toronto, Canada production facilities.

Mr. Knott graduated from Duke University in December 1988 with a BS in Electrical Engineering and in August of 1999 with an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.

On a personal note, Mr. Knott is actively engaged with Lowe’s Grove Baptist Church and participates on several committees – including Finance (Chairman), Long-Range Planning (Chairman), Office and is a past vice-chairman of the Board of Deacons. Mr. Knott has been actively involved in the Parkwood Athletic Association and South Durham Little League, and has a number of years of head coaching experience in Tee-Ball, Baseball and Soccer. Mr. Knott had served as the President of Save Historic Lowe’s Grove, a non-profit group working to save the hundred year old Lowe’s Grove Elementary School for adaptive reuse.

Mr. Knott lives in Durham with his wife, Lisa, and three children, Jordan, Lauren and Alex.

Joni Barnes

Ms. Barnes is currently serving her second stint on the Board of Directors of TCAR (Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors) as Past-President 2013. Additionally, she was a founding board member of Tacquire, a real-time total access commercial real estate exchange. Ms. Barnes is also an active member of TCREW (Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women). She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from The University of Akron, Ohio and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina.
